We can't control what happens to your R4 garments once they've reached their end-of-life. But we can incentivize you to reduce waste, by sending us your worn-out garment through our Return Scheme.

The Problem

Over 82 million tonnes of textile is wasted every year, a number that is expected to increase to more than 134 million tonnes by 2030 due to growing fast-fashion and mass-consumerism. In 2015, less than 1% of used clothing was recycled.

R4's Solution

While most fashion systems are part of a linear economic model, namely a "take-make-use-waste" system, R4 aspires to generate a circular economic model.
